He wanted his family close by but he wanted his space and independence with someone he cared about. Of course any details were bound to change in time. For now he also wanted to enjoy the moment. They wouldn't have too many instances where they would be alone and dressed up. He thought she looked good no matter what she had on and he was also glad that she seemed approving of his own suit. They were indeed, a pair of good looking people in an astonishing place where they appeared to fit in and yet they really did. Gale knew he and Prim did better, much better, when they were far away, cooking over a fire or hunting game. Those days may be behind them but he still had to hold onto the belief that they were also ahead of them and that made the night less bitter and more sweet. He chuckled softly when Primrose added that he looked really good. He grinned against her lips, pleased with her approval. "Good." He muttered softly and kissed her again before he tightening his hold around her but made sure not to hurt her. It felt like they had been in the Capitol for ages even though it had been a couple of days. A lot had happened since their arrival. Prim and Gale made friends, trained, found their own strengths and weakness and even made some promising allies in hopes of escaping. It all depended on their actions and he was happy to rely on Prim, happy that she didn't see herself as a burden or wallflower. No, she was a wonderful woman who could stand on her own and fight like anyone else. "I don't think we're gonna get a lot of time to ourselves." He said which meant they had to take advantage of what time they had now. He was sure in the Games, things would be unpredictable, to say the least. So Gale kissed her again, letting it last a bit longer, his hands rubbing her sides softly to make sure she wasn't cold or anything. And he also just wanted to stay close to her. If they were ever separated in the Games, he was sure he wouldn't be able to sleep until he found her. That thought would only drive him crazy so he told himself to just enjoy his time with Prim right now and that the future wasn't something that deserved his attention, not with the stunning blond beside him. He wasn't sure what to say but the silence itself felt natural so he moved one of his hand to trace a small spiral against her bare shoulder blade, enjoying the softness of her skin. "I want to enjoy every second we have." He hoped that didn't sound too sappy but it probably did...which he was okay with, surprisingly.
