Originally my post didn't have the suspicions of them working together, but finding the man unharmed opened this really big dialogue between B and Z. I still have that earlier version , I'll revert to that and start from there. As for the rest of the post, I communicated my character's intentions clearly in my previous post. B stated out loud that she wanted to loot the man's body. She thought to herself that she didn't immediately trust the woman. I narrated that B didn't want to start off at a social disadvantage. I left things open with my previous interaction for a number of paths. Ciara goes on a rant trying to belittle B and make her out to be a nervous wreck. Yes B was caught out by the military man (which I only wrote because I felt I was written into a corner but that's fine), but B, after having a gun in her face, gets straight to business. I don't write her as nervous, I write her as pissed at herself and determined to improve. That is my character. After being talked down to and treated like a child (even though she is one), after having the only thing she said (about looting) scoffed at, what reason does B have to travel with this woman? Bowing to Ciara after being treated awfully then walked away from does not fit my character. So now that B decided not to follow Ciara what does she do? Exactly what she said she would do. Out loud. In exactly the same way as was written in her flashback. I'm sorry, but I thought it was completely in-character and appropriate. B was left with the woman walking away from her, heading to Kell acting like she knew exactly what B would do. B investigated the man who was down who she thought was injured/unconscious/dead. Who clearly had loot she could trade. I'm not trying to shut down any discussion, I encourage it. I'm just trying to thoroughly lay out my thought process so you know where I'm coming from.
