Leonel stayed where he was, staring at the pistol that was aimed right at him the entire time he was speaking to his father. He knew that this situation was going to be dangerous, yet any courage that he may have started with was now completely gone. He wasn't really sure where it came from in the first place, but he was quite sure that his father didn't have any courage in this either. It made it all the more difficult to listen to the beast talk and reveal his whole plan, that didn't exactly sound right to Leonel at all, beasts weren't supposed to be human at all, to want to know anything about his past was odd. It didn't make sense, but whatever was going on with this particular beast was just what Leonel needed for his way out. He'd be able to get out of the government's hold and be on his own again, something he had been wanting for quite some time. This was a way he could actually do what he wanted and not have to worry about getting attacked, at least not right away. Leonel crossed his arms and even let a smirk show on his lips, "I'll trade places with my father then." The smirk went away completely the moment he saw the look on his father's face. He could see the disappointment and just how upset he was with the agreement. Like, he expected more from his son or at least a different kind of response. Suddenly, the thought that he'd probably never see his father again, came to him. It took any sort of excitement he just had completely out of him and made his heart feel heavy. "I-I'll be alright, dad. It's just until you find the information on him. There's gotta be a file somewhere, right?" Christian nodded, "But, Leonel, you can't stay here with this monster. It isn't safe." Leonel shook his head, "It's safer than the government building we're living in. Look, the man needs us, he isn't going to do anything to me that's going to risk not getting the information he wants."
