For sure I think it would have changed since then, but right after focus came into effect I couldn't do any damage. The way it worked is only steady shot generated any real focus, low damage and 2 (maybe 3?) second cast time. Spam that a few times and then can get a round of arcane shot, serpent shot, you know how hunters work, but then back to steady shot. Eh maybe I'm just biased against changes like that or something, also been a while so memory might not be that great. Whatever the case is haven't really wanted to get back to WoW.
