"Oh, ok." Dutch kind of muttered to himself. "Well, I don't really have the luxury of not getting hungry slowly. So, is there anything you want to talk about while we walk there? We would be pretty close now. Also, have you been reading my thoughts again? You know I don't like that, I mean it is just kind of creepy." Dutch continued, louder and more clearly.
Zero rubbed the back of his head. 'Sorry pal, it was out of my control. It happens without me knowing it sometimes.' he stated. He paused when he heard rustling in the bushes up ahead. 'Shhh...' he said softly. A deer seemed to be walking around in front of them. Without a second thought Zero touched the tree next to him and muttered some magic words. A part of the tree stretched and formed a bow in his hand, another part becoming the arrows. He muttered another magic spell, just a minor one to ensure the arrow would hit, before aiming at the deer and firing. It was a clean shot, the deer crashed down with a thump and Zero took a deep breath. 'It seems I got us dinner.' he said. 'Let's go get it.' he said.
Rodrick sat alone in abandoned house, one that was vacant before the townspeople had vanished. There was something he had to do about it, but there wasn't much he could do on his own. Shaking his head of the thought, he made his way out to the side of the house. There, if anyone was ever actually looking for something there, was a loose board. Rodrick pulled it loose and removed the dirt pile just behind it to reveal a small box about a foot long, three inches wide, and two inches tall. Grabbing it, he made his way to the one place sure to have weapons in this town, the gun store. There, he opened the box to reveal five slots, three of which were occupied by darts. It took him a bit, but he found a dart rifle capable of using them. Once that was done, he grabbed a regular hunting rifle and made his way out again. He stayed clear of the supernaturals that came to the town, and avoided the hunters especially, there was a good chance that they'd want him dead if they realized who he was, even if they had more sympathy for the supernaturals. He left the town and went a little ways into the forest, intent to hunt for food.
Sika was wandering through some woods aimlessly. She had arrived her some time ago, sensing a lot of energy coming from this area, but not finding the source of the energy. Perhaps the people with so much energy could help her figure out what she was, but she needed to find them first. She had already found some people in a town nearby a while ago. They had a lot of energy, but not of the same type as the energy she had felt earlier, so she continued on her search. Today she had gone to the other side of the town, away from the other people she had seen. For some reason they mostly stayed in one spot and didn't move from it often, only to hunt or go look for somebody. She hadn't seen the other side of town much, so she decided to come see. First she found a small cabin, with the scent of somebody inside. She peeked inside through the glass window, but saw nobody. What a delicious scent it was, she sniffed up as much as she can from it before looking around, tracing the scent into the woods. She flew up using the wings on her back, white wings that matched her fur, and searched around the trees. She spotted the owner of the scent, a male human with guns that was heading through the woods. She looked at him with gleaming eyes and moved along with him as he walked.
"Well, if you're going to want to learn how to fight against them, you have to learn how they fight..." He said to Ryan, for this one he'd need Zhalia's help, if she was willing that was. "You think you'd be willing to help me out dear?" He spoke to Zhalia, giving her a light kiss on the cheek. Ryan seemed like he hadn't really known anything about supernatural beings at all, if he could stand up to Zhalia in simple training run then maybe he could handle Mason's training.
Zhalia smiled lightly and nodded at Mason. 'Sure darling. Just tell me when I go to far, I never sparred with an untrained human before.' she said. I'll stay in my human form to make it a bit easier, kay?' she said. She was about to go in her battle stance when Zayne slithered out of the woods, her face filled with worry and anger. 'Aaron is gone!' she exclaimed. 'I was tracking his energy into the woods, then it became weaker and before I could reach it he was gone. I can't sense him anymore.' she cried out. Her eyes started to burn angrily. 'Somebody took him, I'm sure of it...' she said darkly. She lashed her tail out and slammed it into a tree, breaking it in half with angry huffs. Zhalia paled a bit, if it was even possible, and moved towards her friend. 'Zayne, Zayne, calm down. Calm... down...' she said, trying to relax the echidna. If Zayne went on a rampage now she wouldn't be able to stop it easily. Zayne let out an animal-like snort and looked at her. Zhalia moved a bit closer to her. 'We're gonna find him, okay? If somebody took him we'll find him..' she said. This notion seemed to calm Zayne down a bit and she lowered back to the ground more.
