"I was not eating leaves, I was eating whatever I could catch. I hunted when we were looking for the Dragonballs, remember? I know how to do this," Yumi retorted, huffing as she turned away and started walking on. She did know how to hunt, she'd done it plenty of times before. Though... That was with traps, just about the most passive way possible in terms of hunting. Actually going out, chasing something down and killing it with her hands, that she had never done. She should have thought to ask the boys for some advice, she knew they had done it before. Sighing and giving a shake of her head she put on a smile, deciding she was going to sort it out herself. She'd show Viral she was perfectly capable of doing this, then he couldn't chastise her any longer. If he wanted her to think about what she was doing then she'd do just that and focus up. At the very least the Beastman agreed with her idea about the water, nice to know she actually had something going for her. Giving looks around them as they moved through the forest she kept her ears perked and nose ready, trying to find any hint of animal life. Smell of water, she hadn't a clue how she was going to manage that. Water was odorless, unless it had something in it, then it was the contaminates you were smelling. Yumi would try if Viral thought that was the way to do it but she wasn't going to hold her breath. Kabocha wasn't totally sure why this road was so quiet, even if they were a bit on the edge of the city. There were plenty of buildings here, some really nice looking too so he figured it'd be packed. Ah well, it helped his nerves to not be surrounded by Kaesstrians, he wanted a better idea of how things were before they went throwing themselves into crowds. Trying to suss out which way they should go he gave his head a scratch, glancing over at Choi when he spoke up. Frowning at his friend's comments the Saiyan rolled his eyes, starting to walk on down the road to get deeper in the city. "They almost killed the Princes and Viral, or did you forget that? They can hurt us if they want to Choi, there's plenty reason to be careful," he pointed out, "If it happens it happens, yeah, we'll kick their collective butts, but I doubt causing a fight in the middle of the street is going to land us a free lunch." Would be nice though, it would solve the entire issue of figuring out how to pay for their meals. The problem with that was it would kind of be a damper on this vacation if there were groups of Kaesstrians looking to get even, it would make relaxing awfully difficult. Seriously, how in the world was Shu doing all of that? If Takeshi were to try those moves at even half the speed he'd end up flat on his face, they were well beyond what he could do. If he wasn't mistaken the little guy was even taunting him now, he knew full well there was no chance he'd be caught. Oh he was asking for it now, Shu was so getting some later on. Smiling a bit frustratedly he made one more leap for his brother, reaching out to try and grab hold of Shu only to end up grasping at air. Gasping when he found himself in the awkward position of being laid out in mid air Takeshi once more landed on a branch, falling forward and barely saving himself from tumbling by reaching back and grabbing the branch. As a result he swung upside down and ended up hanging by one hand, watching as Shu moved ahead unphased. Sticking out his tongue childishly the older boy ventured a glance back to see how the others were getting on, frowning at seeing T'charrl laid out and Haku over him. It didn't look like anything had been done to their friend, but why was he laid down like that? "Shu, wait up a second will you?" he shouted, swinging himself up on the branch and looking back. If Haku tried anything, or had done anything then he was in for a world of hurt. T'charrl had tripped, he supposed, how else had the Kaesstrian ended up colliding into a tree? Some impact it was too, the noise had been loud enough probably to reach the ship back on the landing site. Though he had been trying to distance himself after the outburst Haku had turned around, opting to try and help out the alien. He wasn't sure what he could do other than offer a hand up, not exactly having many words for T'charrl. What came out of the alien's mouth next made him draw his hand back, frowning uneasily. Had what he said really hit so hard with T'charrl? Haku hadn't thought anyone here could see things the way he did, always being cast out and ostracized for seemingly no good reason. But maybe he could, maybe he and T'charrl of all people could see eye to eye. "Who are you kidding...? You've got family, don't you? Everything I heard tells me your folks love you a lot, and so do a ton of other people there. Plus you've got all your friends trying to help you, so you're just going to make them come out here for nothing?" Jeez, he was the one having the breakdown a second ago, so why was he now the one trying to console somebody? His eyes still stung slightly from the tears and he was still trying to blink a few last back for goodness sake. Extending the hand again Haku put on a small smile, gesturing with his other for T'charrl to take it. "Everyone's got someone who hates them, I know that better than anyone... Some more than others. But if you just run because someone doesn't like you then they win. I never ran, even when everyone around me hated me... If someone as weak as me can do that then a Prince can definitely do it, so come on, get up."
