Yumi made a face at Viral before forging ahead, trying to make herself focus on the task at hand. Maybe she was a little reliant on her Ki, after all she'd only known how to use it for a little over a year now, so it was still new to her. It really was convenient too, all the things using your own energy afforded you, like flight and blowing things apart. Maybe if Viral could use it himself he'd have a bit more of an understanding why they all used it so much. For this particular outing though she'd avoid it, the whole purpose of today was to hunt in a more traditional sense, ie not blasting things. As she plodded along she heard Viral ask about tracks, making Yumi stop in her own as she looked down at the ground beneath her. Tracking footprints, had she ever done that before? Probably, it seemed familiar, but she was drawing blanks on the matter. Smiling sheepishly she looked back at the Beastman and shrugged her shoulders, giving a small laugh as she did so. "Maybe not the whole bit of tracking... But I know of it. So memorize the tracks of the Kaesstrians now, got it." Being mindful of the scarce tracks they could see she examined the pattern closely, even taking a whiff or two to see if a scent was left behind. Nothing really, but she knew T'charrl's well enough to venture a guess she just had to look out for scents like his. Nodding to herself she flashed a smile at Viral, turning on her heel and starting off again, "We'll find something, don't you worry! Learn as I go, that's all." "How are you so sure we won't get ambushed, huh? There's alleyways and corners, aren't there? They don't have to be hiding in trees to get us," Kabocha retorted, giving Choi a sharp look, "And if you really think we'll be hailed as heroes for kicking some butt then maybe we should go find someone to beat up, huh? Then we can get all the free food we want!" He wasn't even going to go into how flawed that logic was to him, the whole idea of putting down some baddies for a quick bite was absurd. Kai once again saw fit to become the voice of reason, or try to be anyways. Giving the other twin a glare at first Kabocha lifted his eyes upward, noticing there were a fair many more Kaesstrians above, some looking down at them all weird. Oh, so maybe it wasn't nearly as empty as he'd thought... Made sense. Getting red in the face he huffed and placed his hands on his hips, starting down the road to get into the city. "Yeah we're Saiyans, but our hands are tied because of the whole no-killing rule, plus we're not supposed to be fighting. Didn't Vegeta say something about keeping a low profile? Right now we're only Saiyans in name since we're not allowed to fight, so that means jack all as far as I'm concerned." Grumbling under his breath about being held back he threw his hands up in the air, getting in a bit of a tiff. "Aw forget it, let's just grab some food and go!" It was a whole lot of fun even with the frustration, racing around in the trees like this. They never really did it before, not that they had a chance to, which was a shame. Takeshi admitted this was much more enjoyable than he had initially expected, but if he said that aloud Shu would probably never let him hear the end of it. Either that or the little guy would be on about it even more. Fun though it may be they should really stop for a second seeing as T'charrl was down for some reason. Takeshi very nearly jumped to the conclusion that Haku had done something, noticing the other boy looming over their friend. But the Kaesstrian didn't look like he'd really been attacked, nor did Haku look like he'd just nailed someone. Okay, so did he trip then? Weird, the guy had seemed coordinated up until now, maybe he got distracted about something. Realizing Shu was coming back to check up on the others he followed suit, jumping across the trees to get closer. The pair looked to be talking something out, and something a bit touchy at that, so Takeshi kept back a little ways. He and Shu were more than close enough to help if need be, but there was no reason to go rushing in like someone's life was in danger. He'd never known that T'charrl was so hard on himself, that he put so many expectations on himself. Maybe it was others doing that to him, Haku didn't really know his story all too well, it was obvious there was a lot of pressure placed on the alien. So that was one thing he couldn't quite relate to, he didn't have standards to live up to as he'd never exactly been given any. Wow, the Kaesstrian had a fairly abysmal outlook on their situation even though nothing was really wrong. Sure he wasn't back to his regular self, whatever that was, but who would spot them out here? They were in the middle of a massive forest, it wasn't as though they'd gone into the city itself. To his question Haku's face dropped a bit as he looked away, his lips forming a tight line. "They tried... Kind of. I was beaten by people who were supposed to be my allies because I was weak... So they've gotten close. Their excuse was because it would make me stronger, but it only made things worse. So again... I've been there, I know what it's like." Hm, they had more in common than he'd ever have guessed and they were absolutely nothing alike. One was a Prince, the other a lowly soldier, one at least had some kind of support and the other still thought himself alone. Sighing softly Haku squatted down before T'charrl, again trying to offer a slightly awkward smile to cheer him up. "No one's going to see you like this, that's why we're out here, right? So... Relax, uh... Because we're going to fix it. Shu and Takeshi know what they're doing, just leave it to them." And him, though he hadn't a clue what he could do to help, nor was he sure his help was even wanted. Heck he was probably wasting his breath here by talking to T'charrl. "I've got to ask... You changed before, on this planet, right? Did your parents or other family treat you badly then?"
