Kouta could only raise an eyebrow at the demon's choice of action. Not exactly the reaction he expected when he discovered that the demon had spotted him. Maybe he'd heard of Kouta or the Shi-Long tribe and gave up whatever he was planning? Yeah, right, like that would ever happen. This had to be some kind of trick, Kouta knew it. But what choice did he have? He couldn't let the demon out of his sight, so if that meant he had to trigger a trap then so be it. Kouta pushed away from his spot, grabbing the tip of the wall separating the audience area from the arena ground pulling himself up and over with ease. He heard voices, people probably questioning what the hell he was doing, or calling security, or both. Kouta ignored them all. With a quick running start, Kouta dashed forward and then leaped his way up to where the demon was walking, "Where do you think you're going, Demon?" he demanded, now standing in close proximity of the demon and able to look him right in the face. Could this be him? Was this red devil the one he'd been hunting? Kouta narrowed his eyes in scrutiny, using his training to get a good read on the demon's Ki. That was the sure-fire way to identify him. Kouta was unable to look at the demon who'd murdered Shino but he remembered sensing the bastard's Ki, and he'd never forget what it felt like. Most demons' Ki were a fiery sort, and teeming with pure hatred or rage, sometimes both. But the one that night... he was different. That one's Ki was almost ice cold, and devoid of anything resembling emotion, not even rage or hatred like most. After a short moment, Kouta's shoulders sagged in disappointment. Whoever this demon was, they weren't the One. "So you're not the one I'm looking for." said Kouta, disappointment in his tone. Still, he removed the cloak he'd been wearing to show his Shi-Long clothing for all to see, "But a demon's still a demon..." his voice started trailing. Was this really a good idea? Starting a fight here would disrupt the tournament, and mobs of people would be on his case for it. And that wasn't even mentioning the collateral damage a fight would cause, the potential people this demon could try to kill before Kouta got to him, "Hmm, a demon at a tournament, and not even taking part like they usually do. What are you after, anyway?" obviously the demon wanted the Dragon Balls, but what Kouta wanted was to know why. He supposed it could be the usual immortality schtick that most evil types raved about, but he had a sneaking suspicion that this was a bit more complicated than that.
