Okay so my character will be up soon but I just want to throw my two cents into the power conversation. Primarily what I want to say has to do with how powers are being classified as "OP". For instance Patriarch's character was considered OP because of his 3 powers that he designed to fit his character, flight via electric wings, shooting lightning and access to a wisdom spirit. Now in my eyes the only power there truly OP is the wisdom spirit as it gives access to as someone pointed out near infinite amounts of knowledge. The wings and lightning shooting aren't near OP. We already have a character with flight so the argument there is non-existent. Now lightning blast I could see being argued as OP but only if you are taking the stance that it's a one hit kill, which lightning hardly is. Further he could've easily toned it down to where his bursts are like a strong tazer which would make it non lethal much like any wind attacks from the other flyer. Now the main reason I'm in adamant defense of this is because a character with a true OP ability has already been accepted. Citing the character with line of sight teleportation and portals. Anyone here ever play Portal? Terminal velocity is a very real thing and incredibly easy to push somebody to with dual portals giving near instant kill potential. Further line of sight is not a real restriction to teleporting unless a cool down or limit per day exists simply because one could teleport into the sky (say 1000 feet) then have a line of sight of the entire city plus some. It's because of this approval of true OP powers and denial of much less powerful abilities that I've been taking so long developing my power. Just thought I'd make my voice heard
