"Well I figured I would kill it by beating it! Since my spear didn't work I was trying to improvise," Yumi explained, sighing as she placed her hands on her hips, "I could have too if you didn't make me stop..." She didn't understand what the issue was, it was like Viral wanted only a single, specific method of hunting to be employed. Well then she wasn't learning anything, she'd just be mimicking whatever he did. If she was to come in of her own then she would have to do things her way, even if the Beastman didn't wholly agree with them. Yumi didn't quite find the line of thinking when it came to treating her prey with dignity, that seemed hard when you were trying to kill something. She wouldn't do anything outlandish, but a kill was a kill, regardless of how you did it. So their hunting expedition then was going to consist of Viral giving her a crash course on 'dignified' hunting methods, was it? Lovely. Figuring arguing further would only cause trouble for them she made a point to apologize, doing so as kindly as she could. Thankfully it looked like they were going to drop the matter as Viral was wanting to keep moving to get away from the animal. No issues from her, if that wasn't her target then she had no desire to hang around any longer. "I'll be more careful next time, and quicker too," Yumi said as she began walking, glancing back with a small, disparaging smile, "And I'll treat it with respect." Kabocha was getting all kinds of angry with the twins, which was nothing new really. The two of them just had a knack for aggravating him and they knew it, always playing it up and targeting him. Normally they were fine, but when they decided to they could be a serious pain in his rear. Shooting Choi a nasty look as he went on he followed after Kai, hoping to just get the exchange business over with soon. Once they did they could focus on getting food and hopefully these two would shut up by then. "And I tried to exchange the money, but that woman was too damn stubborn to listen to me," he retorted, frowning. The next remark made Kabocha's face heat up as he glared at Kai, reaching out to try and swat him on the head. "Hey, I don't see you with a woman either big shot! I don't want to hear anything from you!" The only one here that had a girlfriend was Choi, and he and Yumi were taking a break. To him and in his experience that didn't bode well for his friend. Girls just didn't take a break, it usually meant something was up. If he said anything to that effect though it would leave Choi all nervous and upset, and Kai would get angry in turn. Things were a hassle enough as it was with him keeping quiet, no need to stir any more trouble. If Shu and T'charrl were going to do their best to hide then Haku was going to have to try as well. He hadn't a clue how he was going to go about it nor what might make a good spot to begin with. Something in a bush maybe, or hidden behind a tree. Though the latter was fairly easy to figure out, so maybe not. Up in a tree? Eh, Takeshi could easily fly up and spot him, that was hardly a good spot. Maybe he could always try finding a tree with a big knothole in it and climb in, use that as a spot. If some native animal lived inside though and attacked then hiding would be the least of his concerns. Feh... Maybe a bush would have to do then. Putting distance between him and the others Haku came to a halt on a branch some ways away, crouching down and looking about the immediate area for a hiding spot. The best looking place he could ultimately decide on were a collection of broad-leaved plants, sprouting up along the base of a few trees. Jumping down from his perch he hurried over, pushed aside a few of the long stalks and climbed into the thick of it. By carefully sitting down in between all of the plants and adjusting a few stalks Haku managed to near completely conceal himself from view. His blue and white clothing hardly blended in, but hopefully the plant did enough to hide him. "Forty-eight... Forty-nine... Fifty! Here I come guys!" Takeshi turned with a smirk and looked around immediately, trying to pick out any clear traces of where the others had gone. To their credit he didn't see anything nearby that might hint at their direction, no busted branches or noticeable marks. Okay then, he'd actually have to give this an honest effort then, no sweat! It might be easy to just try picking out their energies but that was cheating, and it was hardly a contest if he cheated. So then, where did he go first? They could have gone off in any direction really, and given the fact there were three of them it was a safe bet they each went in a separate way. Scratching at his head he looked in every which way, debating on what was his best bet to begin with. "Really should have set a limit on distance..." he mumbled, sighing before giving himself a stretch. "Ah well... I'll find them either way!" And he was talking to himself... Again. Smiling sheepishly Takeshi settled on going straight ahead from where he was now, and he could always circle back if it was a dud.
