Yumi couldn't see what she was doing as 'playing', she was earnestly trying to bring down the creature they had found. Since her weapon had broken she had gone to what she knew best and that was fighting, however unorthodox her method may have been. Fine, no use in agitating Viral further, they could move on and try something else. If there was something with a bit less in the way of claws and fangs she wouldn't mind tackling that instead, goodness knows it would be an easier kill. Her failed attempt at hunting was still throwing a fit so they ought to distance themselves, and to that end Yumi began walking away from it. If she was going to find something easier to get then it definitely made sense to her to search for some fruit trees; bringing down an herbivore would be drastically easier than something like the blackened monster. "I can do more than fishing! You're making it sound like I'm totally inept!" Yumi whined, frowning as she looked at Viral, "I'll go to the lake, but it's going to be to find something else. No way am I sticking to just plucking fish out of some water." The lake wasn't all that far... Right? They well could have gotten turned around after running from that creature, but she liked to think not. Continuing their stroll through the forest she became pleasantly surprised when the lake in question at last came into view, the widespread body of water just visible through the dense treeline. Sending a smile in Viral's direction Yumi hurried forward, coming to a gradual halt whilst still concealed by the trees. Okay then, animals were bound to be around here, now where were they? Kabocha was in a real fit, and Kai wasn't helping it at all. He'd never had to exchange money before, every world they were on took Saiyan money. The only time they had been here on Kaesstra money had been provided as well as housing so there was no reason to worry about it. How aggravating, he loathed to admit to himself he wasn't sure how to get what they needed here. To top it off he had become reliant on Kai's ability to get what they needed, that only made things even worse. Doing little to hide his annoyance with his friend he sighed, looking away stubbornly and making a remark about women. It was a touchy subject with all of them, save for Choi who actually had someone. Kabocha could get them but never keep them, Kai never had any and Takeshi seemed to be cursed to be beaten by every girl he ever spoke to. It was like their whole squad was cursed to remain single, until Choi went and got himself a girlfriend in Yumi. "Right... And look at the selection you have now," Kabocha said, referring to their group of friends, "If Kaesstrians don't do it for you then you're out of luck. Who knows how long it'll be until we pick up some hot girls, or go back to Kortal. Man... Now I'm hungry AND I want a chick to feed me..." If they were back home he could have that, granted it would have been a servant girl. Hey, some of them were cute, he'd stolen glances more than once at them. And the best part was he couldn't be smacked for doing so, being a noble's son and all. But now he had to play all nice, what a bother. Takeshi was having a fair bit of trouble with tracking down the others, quite a lot in fact. He couldn't even find Haku, someone who he'd figured would have been sticking out like a sore thumb. Such a pain, he didn't even know if he was going in the proper direction or not. For all he knew he could be heading in the opposite direction of the others and he would never know it, and to top it off there was no telling how far out they may have gone from the start. Doubling back yet again to the starting point he let out a soft sigh, scratching at his head as he glanced around. Okay, so he'd gone north and east, he thought, it was hard to tell on this planet. Left and straight if that made it easier, plus everything in between those two points. So it made sense to try the other ways next and maybe he'd have some luck. On a slight whim his hand went up to his scouter and pressed the button, opening the channels but remaining quiet on the off chance he might hear something. Nope, nothing but static, so everyone else had theirs off. Groaning he turned the device back off and pushed his hands into his pockets, beginning a search off in another direction. They had to be somewhere, no way could they have gotten off that far in such a short time. Unless they were still moving, though he doubted that. Save perhaps for Shu he would figure they knew not to go off too far, otherwise the game would just become absurd. But seriously... Where was everyone? The large ship landing down on Kaesstra hadn't exactly been the most discreet thing ever, it had caused quite the commotion in both cities. Though it had been a while since it landed there were no obvious signs of a threat, nothing to warrant the need of military action. In spite of that Queen Eslaria thought it wise to send a small group out to inspect the ship and try to discern who was inside of it, or who had been. There were very few alien races who had come to Kaesstra before, and the first and foremost thought were Saiyans. If this turned out to be some of the King's men then their people could be in trouble, they had to know before an attack began. L'esta took the initiative and with the Queen's orders set out with four other soldiers to investigate the new arrivals. There was some distance between their underground city and the vessel, flying would get them there within moments but it may also attract attention. Instead the scouting party had decided to go on foot, being mindful of how the wildlife was reacting. If they were in a panic or running then they knew something was amiss, but thus far there was nothing to indicate something was wrong. L'esta wasn't letting himself relax though, not until they were entirely certain that everything was okay. They had finally brought peace to their people and now was not the time for a foreign enemy to disrupt that, he had to be sure they could prevent an attack. Coming across a clearing he ordered his men to stop and take a brief break, keeping his hands on his sword as he scanned the area, making certain nothing was around to harm them.
