As I said, it's an idea I tried to work up in the old guild, so Blacklist was not out yet. I only relied on knowledge I got from Splinter Cell Conviction. And of course, I made some of the changes deliberately. While the mechanics work a lot like Splinter Cell Conviction/Blacklist; it's more realistic, you're not able to play a sitting duck in plain sight and not be seen just because you invisibility meter is at zero, some of the plot and the way how it's presented bears more resemblance to the older Splinter Cells. For example, after each mission, there will be a news broadcast explaining new things and possibly foreshadowing future missions, just like in the old games (Splinter Cell Stealth Action Redefined - Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow - Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and I'm pretty sure there was a news broadcast in an ending for Splinter Cell Double Agent PS2/XBOX version). That being said, here's me countering some of the valid points you've made. 1. Yes, I realized that after I played the game. But, as far as we know, the only active Fourth Echelon cell is the one led by Sam Fisher, with Briggs as his sidekick. Since this RP involves four people, I had to deviate from the canon and make it look like 4E has already established a group similar to the one led by Sam Fisher. The RP is set up in the same time period as the events of Blacklist (early 2012, I think), so you know where I'm coming from. 2. I got nothing here. As I said, I was working on knowledge gathered by Splinter Cell Conviction. I even have the old OOC ready, so I guess I'm gonna have to update it. 3. This is not just ONE clandestine unit trying to take down a huge villainous organization with vast influence. This is a cooperation in between two states. Voron and 4E will be taking out the big heads, while the rest of America's and Russia's assets will tie up the loose ends. It's not far fetched to think that by the end of this RP, there will be nothing left of Megiddo. 4. I'm going to deal with the threat of corruption within the two respective groups and play a little bit on the dynamic, but aside from that we're going to say Voron is not entirely compromised. Yet. 5 and 6. Yeah, got that after I played the game. Either way, I'm thankful you pointed these out for me. As soon as this builds more interest, I'm gonna update the OOC. It's also good to know that this time, I'm pulling towards more dedicated Splinter Cell fans. Last time I tried to air a Splinter Cell RP, one of the participants confused the Osprey for a secret underground base.
