Name: Yutaka Zhou Age: 25 Gender: M Appearance: Face: Clothing (minus the scarf) Abilities: Lightning bender with very good control over his abilities. Trained computer programmer and electrical engineer with a background in hacking on top of it all. Inside informant on future industries. Equipment and Bionics: Has a bionic jack in the back of his neck that allows him a direct neural interface with computer systems that allow it. For wireless communications or systems that he feels would be dangerous to jack into directly he also has a computer attached to his wrist allowing those interactions. His belt also holds both a stun gun and stun baton which he has modified to contain a higher than normal electrical charge. Allowing him to hold his own in combat without needing to constantly call upon lightning. Personality: As a basic mantra he believes in ego above all. He feels that he is the best at what he does and for the most part he is correct, though he very much overestimates his abilities at everything else. An excellent programmer and hacker he proves his value to the team with each bit of information he gives and mission he participates in. However, he overstates this importance when given the opportunity. He is also something of a coward, preferring to engage from the safety of the net as opposed to any form of physical confrontation. His brains more often getting him out of trouble than any sort of brawn. He largely joined the group for two reasons, screwing with and even framing his bosses for his crimes helps him work up the corporate ladder (he sees this as perfectly fine due to their general uselessness in his opinion and the fact all can agree they are dicks) and because if this group is successful it means he just might be declared a hero and gain some kind of monetary reward and prestige. The man is in no way trustworthy and he makes absolutely no attempt to hide this outside of what is required by self preservation. He has practically a reverence for all things Nuktuk, enjoying every episode of The New Adventures of Nuktuk and he even has some of the old Nuktuk movers kept preserved as best he can. In fact he's even written some scripts and sent them in using the extensive history of Nuktuk's many years of success. None have been used yet but it hasn't stopped him from continuing to write both that and his own fiction set in the universe. To be honest he adores the pop culture created by Future Industries and if it wasn't for the two reasons mentioned earlier he may be a perfectly loyal worker drone. But the two being true and in no way ever ceasing to be true, he is as loyal so long as it serves his needs and sufficiently strokes his ego. Backstory: Born in Republic city, his childhood was actually very normal. From an incredibly young age he started with basic coding and hacking. His parents relatively supportive even though they were ignorant of exactly what he was doing on the computer. Allowed to explore his passion all throughout his life he studied multiple forms of coding as well as assembly language in his spare time. Naturally intelligent and cunning he worked through his classes and eventually graduated college with multiple degrees in the fields of computer science and electrical engineering. He had also worked on his bending and incorporated it into his work. Focusing largely on the manipulation of the electricity around him in various ways and its uses both practical and theoretical. Future industries quickly picked up on his skills and brought him in, he quickly found the working environment was particularly cutthroat. Working his way up the ranks as one might expect, playing the games better than anyone else. Finding fault in others works in IT and computer research, getting others demoted or even fired as he himself got promoted for his proficiency. He even began to learn how his bosses coding tendencies and habits as he would look over their work. Figuring out how to imitate the way the method and flourishes of their particular styles of coding for his own benefit should the need arise. He also keeps his skills sharp by cheating in online games as well as security breach tests for future industries and its subsidiaries. It was not uncommon to find him hacking an online game in his off time to win consistently.
