When you're saying Rogue Squadron-like... are we talking before the assault on Coruscant, or when Rogue Squadron was re-formated to be elite on the ground and in the air?

Also, are we talking something based off the Rogue Squadron games, or are we talking about the X-Wing Rogue Squadron (and Wraith Squadron) book series?
