Appearance: Name: Liliane "Hellraiser" Eldarus Species: Human Age: 19 Home world: Corellia Appearance: Liliane is short and slightly built. Petite is a good word, but Liliane would prefer compact. She's physically fit and athletically muscled, and portrays herself like someone who took the stereotype of the devil may care Corellian not as an inspiration, but as a challenge. Skills & Abilities: Beyond being in the Top 5% of her graduating class at the academy (and she would have gotten a better score if it wasn't for that frakking Redemption scenario) Liliane is a highly talented pilot, even if her experience in anything other than simulators and training flights is nil. She's been trained in hostile environment survival in the event of being shot down, is a reasonably skilled hand to hand fighter, and can curse fluently in Huttese. Equipment & Personal Items: Flightsuit and helmet, holdout blaster pistol, a holograph of her parents, dogtags. Psychological Profile: Excerpt, psych report from Dr. Astanus K'teltsen, I don't know what it is about pilots and having colossal egos, but here's another one. I don't think I've ever seen one that was as brazen about it as Cadet Eldarus. Her sense of smug superiority makes me want to slap her in the face at times, and it's my job to deal with these people in a polite and reasoned manner. But if ego was a concern about fitness to fly we wouldn't have a Starfighter Corps period. There are other matters of concern. Cadet Eldarus has a lot of unresolved anger issues towards the Sith, and doesn't have the best handle on this anger. Here in the academy she's been able to find adequate venting for it, mostly in simulators and boxing matches, but on a long term deployment it may prove to be a discipline concern. Not enough to scrub her for, but something that any future COs will need to be advised of. Maybe they'll have better luck than us at getting her to get a better grip. There have been a few disciplinary issues taken against her, but nothing critical. She'll spend a lot of time cleaning out the refreshers after mouthing off for her first year or two, but I don't think she'll end up being a serious problem. I'm giving her my stamp of approval, she's fit to fly. History: Liliane gets the chip on her shoulder honestly - her mother was a naval officer, former starfighter pilot before becoming the commander of the RNC Glaive, a light cruiser in the Nineteenth Battlegroup. On a routine mission five years ago the battlegroup was ambushed by Sith forces, and the Glaive, along with numerous others, was lost. No survivors of the Glaive were ever recovered, and her mother, Katya Eldarus, was confirmed to be missing in action and presumed dead. Liliane, at the time only beginning her adolescence, was devastated, and her father was inconsolable. Over time their different reactions to her death drove them apart - Liliane became consumed with rage and a lust for revenge, while her father delved deeper and deeper into his books, culminating in a fight as he attempted to stop her from enlisting at seventeen. He failed, and she hasn't spoken to him since. Her time at the Academy was marked by remarkable piloting skill punctuated by frequent (if usually minor) disciplinary infractions, mingled with a standoffish nature and often rather foul temper. In spite of her personality issues she earned her wings (probably aided by the desperate war effort) and was shipped to the front lines, to the Resurgence Rank in the Academy: 101 (much to her anger) Theme Song:
