It's fine, don't worry. One tip that I've learnt is instead of straight up replying, backtrack, then reply, then move forward. Like this: Sam went to the shop. He bought some milk and eggs, more than he'd usually buy. Upon leaving, he saw Henry and left the door open for him, expressing a cheery hello. Instead of just saying Henry said hello back and stepped inside the shop, holding the door for his neighbour. Do this: Henry awoke that morning and noticed he was low on sugar. He always had tea in the morning. He got himself dressed and walked down the road to the local shop. He spotted Sam and greeted him with a hello. He held the door and waited for him to pass. It then occurred to him that the Smith family up the road had been burgled the night before and that he should warn Sam. It's always easier to get more in that way and you'll get better doing it too.
