Camael felt Abaddon's pain - the full force of it, and it made her want to weep. In fact, a couple of lose teardrops made their way down her cheeks for the demon. But she kept their connection. Only a little bit more, she wanted to tell him. She didn't need to attempt to fully purify him - not even an angel of her caliber could do such a thing. All she needed was an opening. All she needed was that small flickering light to stay strong for a moment. She smiled against Abaddon's lips. There it was - the opening. She broke the kiss with a lingering touch, before she stepped back. Her eyes shut close and she put her hands together - praying with all her heart for the Creator's guidance. Hearing His voice was never hard for her. The hard part about this task would be making Abaddon hear it. But with that opening and that light - albeit small - in his soul would be enough. Should be enough. She opened her eyes and locked her gaze with the demon. "Listen," she told him. "Listen for His voice."
