The training had just started half an hour ago, so I think that after a few attempts at the next phase he could take her out for lunch and praise her for her progress so far. It makes the most sense to me that way, and may make her lunch more rewarding if she's a little bit winded afterwards, since all she's done is gradually improve her hand seal speed. Is that fair?
