Age: 16 Personality: Cautious and quiet, reserved…always afraid of suddenly being hit, or otherwise, and doesn’t want to speak up and upset anyone. Brief Bio: Even after all these years, some of the Ishvalan people were scattered across Amestris, even after the remainder came out of hiding years ago. Early on, Moor lived in a small refugee group with his parents…but an incident with the then corrupt Central police divided their even smaller group. His parents ended up fleeing the city with few others in desperation for their lives, while Moor and one other stayed hiding in the city. In Central, the capital of the country with scores of State Alchemists, one couldn’t help but pick up the foundations of alchemy here and there. At age six, the curtain fell of the events of FMA, and the corrupt government was seized by the righteous. As a means of fixing past error, Ishvalans were gathered in numbers to finally be brought back to their holy land from long ago…though Moor had finally been reunited with his family, he had taken an interest in not only learning alchemy, but actually practising. This was looked down upon by his people’s general religious beliefs, though modern alchemy. Moor would be one of only a handful of Ishvalans staying in Amestris. Even though it was acceptable for them to remain, as this was their home for years on end, some of the general population saw them as an unnatural presence in an already much suffering country. Living off on provided housing and reparation money coming from the renewed Central government, they were looked down upon or straight up abused. As one of the few children staying behind, Moor was taken in by a sort of foster carer, though the woman only saw fit to beat him when stressed. Over time, Moor has lived with different people, lived in different provided housing, and met the confusing triad of cruel life, cautious life, and kind life. Though life kept turning in unexpected ways, the growing boy never lost his interest in alchemy, studying it in his spare time and considering the possibility of becoming a respected, untouchable State Alchemist.

Stands at five foot eight inches, with one of her leg (below the knee down) being automail. She actually paid an alchemist to turn her hair pink...she pierced her own ears, though. Age: 19 Personality: Tough, stubborn, and a little bit rude and overbearing…a little bit pervy at times, but that’s fine. Brief Bio: Early in life, Fern lived far out on the countryside of Amestris with her single father and two older brothers, working a family tailoring business. Since the countryside was either small town or very distance housing, they only ever had enough money made. There was an accident on the road, during a delivery, and Fern ended up having to have what was left of her left leg amputated and replaced with automail. Her father eventually relocated them to a bigger town to set up shop to make more money to pay off the automail and procedure, and though her two brothers eventually left, Fern stayed and continued working for the family business. In this ‘bigger’ town, Fern met her first alchemist…and was fascinated. Instantly dying clothes whole new colours, repairing tears, improving materials. Sure, this this individual wanted to, surely they could have put the humble tailoring business into the poor house. They didn’t, as there were some basic ethics attached to not only being a State Alchemist, but an alchemist in general. Impressed by this, and yet… Fern decided that she had to learn more about using alchemy for conveniences, even if she didn’t become a State Alchemist herself. The young woman may have joined the academy earlier, if she hadn’t been spending the past few years saving up for such an education.
