Jolly good bits of info you two, but I was aware of what the blade actually was, although the actual history behind it, I wasn't too sure, for instance I knew it couldn't be around the times of Germania, or the Roman Empire era as 2 handed swords were created to combat the infamous defensive "Pike wall" and other defensive maneuvers, and also to deal with enemy soldiers in amroured plate. More commonly known as knights. Which was the medieval era, and pushing into Renaissance times. Anyway my historical knowledge is pretty sparse on those eras, as they don't interest me.
