I never thought he would attack her ha. It's that criminal types she gets. Lawyer types not so much. His attempts at ruining her won't make her back down. 

It sure will look pretty suspicious to Derek that she's closing cases even though he's doing everything he can to sabotage her. ;) 

I was also thinking she might have some friends in high places, high class people who were victims of cases that she solved who would be willing to help her out for some cases. It's just the threads I an idea at the moment. Her dad might also have some connections for her to use that he formed during his SEAL career. He might reoccur.
