So how many nations are there in this at the moment? Do the majority have at least semi-large military, or is the general focus on trade or just keeping the peace (not for the RP, but for the majority of the galaxy's intentions)?

Are there any notable events I should keep in mind?

What is the general distance between the individual nation's homeworld(s) or sphere of influence (territory)?

Anything else I oughta keep in mind when introducing/making a new nation?
