Echo heard the footsteps stop right outside the door and she tensed even more. She heard fumbling, some beeps and a hiss as the door slid open. Hmmmm, so they had a hacking tool. Might be a useful thing to nick if she got the chance. Then again she was able to open any door in Sevastopol, locked or no so she really didn’t need it. But if this person didn’t have it then she had a better chance of getting away should they prove to be unfriendly. Echo stayed crouched right next to the door as the person stepped inside. The girl tilted her head as she studied the figure. He was roughly her age, or rather, the age she looked seeing as she didn’t age the way humans did. She was unable to see what his hair or skin color was since without her goggles on she only saw in shades of blue, purple and sometimes silver. Suddenly Echo mentally slapped herself, reminding herself that she was supposed to be slipping out the door as the boy examined the room. She slowly began inching towards the opening, eyes fixed on the boy.
