[quote=j8cob] For characters that aren't in the tournament there aren't really any methods of growing stronger, unless they start a fight somewhere else outside the arena. Once the tournament has ended and the story can progress there will be more opportunities to grow. Training and fighting are the way to do it, particularly with (or against) other player characters or plot-relevant NPCs. Sadly, the Hyperbolic Time Chamber was kinda busted in the plight against Super Buu so our characters can't really take advantage of it.Your fight wasn't really that bad. I determine the points added to the power level by how pushed the character in question was during the fight, not by the quality of the post. For easy victories the reward won't be as great, and the same goes for quick defeats. I'm pretty sure Light's next fight will be much more interesting as it will be against Guls. Those two are of comparable strength, after all.As for what my characters would wish for it doesn't really matter what Jack wants because he's no longer in the running. x3 As for Fenro he would use the Dragonballs as a shortcut to becoming vastly stronger. Something along the lines of wishing to be stronger than his father, which is quite the boost. Since Shenron grants three wishes (thanks to Dende) he probably wouldn't particularly care about the other two and make basic wishes.
