both are good points. honestly I'd like to get this tournament stuff done quick so everyone can interact. Either that or the GM starts off the 'arc' plans and the audiance members can start on it first to give them stuff to do.

In fact that would solve both problems. Get the arc started with the audience members noticing something off and work that angle with them while the tourny people are still in the tourny and join later or whatever when things hit the fan.
