Alias/Nickname: Ark The Study

Age: His actual age is 17 though he looks a ripe 20... at least that's what he has convinced himself. ;-)

Race: Human ( Traveling minstrel. Though he prefers the term Blossoming Musician. Though his skill 
in the trade of music are far beyond blossom and if sticking to analogy he most best represents a 
flower who has survived many winters. )

 Ark has thick blonde 
hair that he usually spikes up. Not for style but for practicality. It grew long and unkempt and is now 
a nuisance to his eyes. If without hair paste he is constantly irritated by loss of current sight. His size 
is that of an average male. To say the least. He stands at the height of 5' 10". He weighs in at 130 
pounds. He has tight muscles and core but most definitely his physical falls nowhere close to an 
angel. He relies more on the manipulation of essence rather than physical strength.

Social Status: Ark is well- known as a musician and Essence User. He is viewed as a prodigy in both 
aspects though this may be a bit dramatized.

Relations: Ark does not have any immediate family. He lost his mother and father to the hands of a 
vampire. He is bitter to this day but by no means seeks vengeance. He is aware that vampires are 
mentally ill in a twisted, dark way. On the subject of friends, due to him traveling slot he has no one 
close. But along the road he has made many the acquaintance and suitor. 

General Activity: Ark has settled down in terms of traveling. For the moment anyways. He is a 
member of The Academy as of this year. He's looking forward to begin his studies as he wishes to live 
up to his nickname which he acquired from a suitor who used it as a pet name. He kept the name as 
a token. And jokingly pretends that him acquiring a position at the Academy will allow him to stay 
true to it. On the subject of daily routine, he prefers a cup of coffee in the morning as well as before 
bed. Due to low income, his diet consists of cheap, stale bread. If times are good maybe some 
sweets. 

 Abilities: Ark uses his essence (as well as surrounding essence) to imprint runes on seemingly normal 
objects and make them unique. Example: Ark's signature cigarettes have a rune he created that 
allows a steady burst of fire that lasts up to 27 seconds. It takes roughly 13 minutes to recharge max. 
Restrictions do apply. He cannot imprint an extremely powerful rune unless he has had many nights 
of study on the spell. Even then, there is no guarantee it would work.

Equipment: His equipment consists of several pairs of clothing, signature cigarettes, a deck of cards, 
and his watch. (Which he stole.)

Fragment Abilities : Ark's violin uses divine forms of fire such as infernos and combustion. Depending on Ark's mood the color of fire differs. Example: Mad= Black Happy= Red Sad= Blue.

Fragment Personality: His violin has a distinct personality. He mastered its strings but at times it 
decides to do its own thing. This causes some embarrassment among company. It can be a show-off. 
Which creates a funny contrast to humble Ark. 

 Personality: Ark has a very humble personality. His main personality flaw is that he can be known to 
reveal too much emotion. Which can make people view him as weak or sensitive. Other than that 
he's generally cheerful even in dire situations and is overly flirtatious when it comes to women. Any 
mention of demons sparks small fits of temper. Reasons to be revealed.

 Biography: Ark as a child was very musically talented. It wasn't until his fragment found him that he 
really made it his career. After his parents death, he took a rough turn that he likes to think was for 
the better. He hardened on the outside but became softer on the inside. His choice to travel was 
immediate. He had always wanted to travel outside his home. He then went on to travel almost anywhere. He met many faces and most likely only 
remembers a third of them. He began practicing with essence as a hobbie that then grew to become 
a skill. Only recently did he decide to expand his essence abilities and become a member of The
