Lauralye heart pounded in her chest as she stared at the demon, "Don't touch him..." She said quietly before the demon even spoke. She seemed to be someone he wanted alive but Robert was someone that he wanted dead.

She was both relieved and terrified when Robert burst through the door. She wasn't sure what was going to happen but was happy to see that Robert remained cold to the man, not allowing him into his skin. When the demon disappeared in flames, Lauralye released a breath she wasn't aware that she had been holding. With the demon gone, she stood and ran around her desk to Robert, wrapping her arms around him. She pulled away slightly to speak but her smiling face contorted to pain as Lucian reappeared and stabbed her with his sword. The demon's face tightened revealing that the blow had not been for the girl but an attack on the unsuspecting Thedas. He snarled before disappearing once more. 

Lauralye collapsed against Robert, her blood causing a dark spot on her already red dress. It was not long until the life faded from the girl's eyes.
