The town will certainly be fictional, I know as much as that. I personally love the idea of a river or lakeside town myself. To givd it history, and to cement the town in place more, I was thinking.. Work on the town will have started in roughly 1912, then was left to focus on the war efforts during the first World War. Following this, the town was completed just a few months before the Great Depression, and an economic downfall. Struggling, a local man and a few friends started a Tugboat company, working on supporting local logging companies. During WW2, the town was commendered for use as a place to store weapons and such, which lead to part being destroyed in a fire, which killed almost half the tiny town's 200 population. Abandoned after this, the town was rebuilt in the 1960's by a rich man, looking for somewhere to expand on his own Tugging company, and to give his workers homes. Being highly religious, he had a large church built, and only really hired Christian workers, something which has remained a strong symbol of the town's community.
