I am a female as well. Never got interested in male roles as I am not a male. It just got odd with me to be a female that plays a male role to have romance with a female that is playing a female role. Think we are in some agreement with this view of role play.

I am good with science fiction that is non canon characters, as playing canon characters I am very limited in how to interact. Stops me and the other player to find different ideas.

What I like best, is long detail ideas to role play. The idea I flirt with you and you flirt back just makes the role play very limited. If I wanted smut, I could find someone with an IM account like yahoo messenger. So I like good ideas. 

Do not post all the time, at best it will be twice a week. In fact, I want my partner to think about the plot for a number of hours before sending back. Not the best to make it fast, as how you write at the time is how you were in the mood. Then a few postings down you find you do not even agree how the plot is moving along. That is the reason they stop so fast.

Since were both females, and want it one on one, I think it would be better that we are sisters that are having conflict between each other. Not in a fight to the death, nor, do I want to get into sister incest as well. What I like is a balance. Maybe were now queens after the death of our father and we have the kingdom broken into two parts. Maybe were in some science fiction that we have to work as a team but have problems with each other.

Remember, the best one on one role play is when both partners are foils to each other.
