Homer had finally excused himself from the game of Truth or Dare. He wasn’t quite sure how he had gotten dragged into it, those kind of games weren’t really his style. He winced when he saw Mitch walk past him going in to the kitchen, the bruise on his friend’s face greatly bothered him. It was odd for Homer to think how close he had become with Mitch over the years. At first he was uncomfortable around him, being raised in a homophobic home tends to have that effect on people. But after he got to know Mitch he stopped caring what his aunt how told him about “those people”, Mitch was a great guy and one of his best friends and seeing him hurt really upset him. Homer finished his bottle of water and walked into the kitchen as well. While Mitch was putting some bottles in the sink and Savarina was looking through the cupboard, Homer wrapped some ice in a dishtowel and handed it to Mitch who was talking to Sav. “Here, that looks pretty bad. Are you alright?”
