Yeah, he's the same character who's lost his other axe, and we can pretend he never had that armor. 

There is a  couple of things I left out. One, are there bombs? If so, Gregory might carry a few of those around, or at least the individual components. Second, can an elementalist control other parts of the environment, like wind or earth? I'm not saying to an extreme sense, but just a little manipulation?
