I guess there really isn't much of a timeframe here. It has been quite a while since the humans have mostly eradicated most of the Non-Humans. Some of us Have been here for a long time. My character came here when the war first start. He's a bit of a coward in that way even though he does ridiculous stuff, like standing up to Vala'Keer when he's easily one fifth his size or smaller. But Zmerr has been on the island for years. Arguably the first to rediscover it and make it livable again. Or at least livable for him. He wasn't exactly expecting company.
