Oh no these are all great questions.

If you choose to make your own character then they will be a thrall. But if you choose an NPC then you will go along with whatever rank they have.

The cast system is set up like paths in a videogame- like how in some videogames you can choose a warriors path or a mages path- its the same concept here. It determines how your character and their wolf will grow throughout the rp. 

Plot wise I have something somewhere- I just need to find that too sorry xD
