Captain notices Jayke's glare and smirks. She begins a slow jog up the stairs that leads back out into the open. She knew that she was going to like this kid when he first presented his power to them. He seems like a nice kid, but she doesn't think that this life is for him. She is hoping that he will be able to prove himself once they get out into the field.
