The best way I can explain mind linking would be when the link is made the victim hears voices in their head. I wouldn't say they go crazy but its more of a distraction ability and while he is there he can get information that the victim may hold but this(the whole power actually) requires focus so it wont be used as frequently as the others. Shane's telekinesis is used to move objects or activate certain things such as switches and levers, but as for moving large objects like a truck that is harder to do and like mind link requires him to focus hard on it. Invisibility is the only ability which does not require any sort of focus and can be done with ease. However all these powers can only be used in his Rift Form. In human form he relies on solely his skills.
