Kabocha couldn't help but allow himself a satisfied smirk when he found the switch to the secret entrance. Of course Kai had to be quick to tease him, shooting the other boy an annoyed glare before shrugging his shoulders. "I got us inside the place too didn't I? Looks like I'm on a roll today!" Proud with himself there was a small strut in the Saiyan's step as he walked over to the stairs, peering down the long staircase a bit surprised. It went fairly far down, and a light was on at the bottom of it, though the steps themselves were nearly pitch black. The general would be down there then, probably waiting for them at this point. "Cautious? Oh come on, let's not worry over nothing," Kabocha remarked, slipping in front of T'charrl to take point again. They had to move single file down the steps since it was so narrow, but with two Saiyans in front of him and one behind the Prince was more than protected enough from any potential threats. The soldiers had agreed to remain at the top of the steps, both to guard the front door and the stairs below from anyone that might come snooping around. Between the four of them they could more than handle this matter on their own, reinforcements weren't needed. Towards the base of the stairs the light became a fair bit brighter, and once on the floor they were faced with a long hallway. Unlike the stairs above it was polished and clean, almost like new, with tiled floors, white washed walls and various plants hanging from the walls and ceiling. A couple of luminescent lanterns shone from the ceiling as well, making the hall uncomfortably bright for the first few seconds. Kabocha slowly led them down the narrow path, and on their way a few doors and rooms were on either of their sides. The point was made to check every single one of these, being unable to find anyone in either. For the most part it was small storage rooms and offices, nothing really to cause alarm. Had they more time they might go through files to get a better idea of what this place was. Maybe at the end, hopefully there was something here to incriminate the general further. "Come on... How are these all empty...?" Kabocha mumbled, closing another door with a sigh. Further on along the hallway the sound of glasses clanging against one another could be heard, albeit faintly. It had been audible enough for the group to hear though, a unanimous hush falling over them all. For a moment no one moved, expecting something to happen after the noise. When evidently nothing would Kabocha carefully started walking ahead again, making sure to make as little noise as he could. It sounded like it came from the right, a door about halfway down the corridor. Once he'd gotten close enough the Saiyan pressed flush up against the wall, pausing briefly before poking his head into the doorway. The light was on, there were a few beakers on a table with liquid but no one inside. Frowning he looked back at the others before stepping in, walking towards the table. It was terribly close, as in an instant of entering the sound of claws scraping made him freeze up. Kabocha didn't even look, dashing off to the side towards the wall as a large figure nearly landed on him, a sword driving itself into the tiled floor. On his feet he looked at the large Kaesstrian a little surprised, smiling faintly. "Let me guess... You're the general?" General Yusef looked at the ground where his sword had imbedded itself, frowning displeased. With a hard yank he freed it from the tiles, checking the edge for any dents casually. "Yes... I am General Yusef, and you're a Saiyan..." the Kaesstrian replied, turning his head to look at Kabocha. "You're faster than I'd have given you credit for, I'm impressed. Most people usually don't avoid me." Curious, this wasn't one of the boys that he had been dealing with before. No, this was a new one, and he had other people with him no less. Keeping his gaze on Kabocha the general paced towards the door, smiling faintly as he reached behind his back and drew a knife out from a hidden sheath as well. "I heard the Prince, did I not? Come on in boy, let us finish this war here and now." Were there more than just the Saiyan and T'charrl? The Prince he was confident he could handle, especially considering how weak he must be. Given his... Reassurances Yusef was positive that the Saiyan would fall to him as well. Seeing that the two Saiyan Princes were not present he assumed perhaps boldly that his plan had worked out, meaning there were three less threats for him to contend with. "I'll finish this Saiyan off, then take you back as a prisoner. And I promise that you will not get away from me this time."
