Maddox stepped out of the train, putting his coat back on as he walked. The air outside was cooler than inside the cart. He took a look around, quickly deciding that Kabo wasn't a particularly special city outside being the Magic Council's headquarters. Magnolia was more attractive, in his mind. The red-haired mage approached Jamie, standing out of the way. Upon hearing Mayt question what everyone will be doing, Maddox faced away from the rest of the guild.

"I'll be staying here," Maddox said simply, keeping his back to everyone. With a wave of his hand he began walking away from the train station and out into the street. So far it seemed that nobody was particularly suspicious of Phoenix Wing, but Maddox surveyed his surroundings carefully. He looked over his shoulder back at his friends, to make sure nobody was planning on arguing with him, before turning left and walking down the street. He spied a restaurant not too far away and decided that would be a good location to wait.
