I could be wrong, but so far the goo Sir has accepted everyone, and tbh, your character is as thought out as all of ours- I'd say go ahead, with my permission (I'll take the blame for letting an "unaccepted" post if I have to) and start, if we have to, we can just go "RETCON!"....
