Lily woke up, a bit startled. She was not awoken by the explosion, however, but rather she was woken up by a large armed teddy bear. Lily smiled serenely. "What's the matter Pip?" she asked, patting her longtime companions head. It didn't have a face that could make expressions, but for some reason it looked content. The teddy bear lifted a large finger outside the cave the hole they were staying in. It was a dug out by fox and Pippin and Bob made it big enough for them to fit. Dae spoke up. "Weeeeell, there wazza really big boom a few moments ago! The big guy here iza worried about stayin' here, so he wantsta leave." Lily nodded. Explosions usually meant bad things. She was a bit sad though; she was starting to like the hole - it was more comfortable than it looked. The small girl lifted her living toasted and was in turn lifted by the large teddy bear, who placed her on her shoulders. Dae flew steadily next to them. After a few minutes of walking, Dae suddenly squawked: "Headsa up! People! People!" The group stopped and Pippin put Lily down, and she quickly hid behind the teddy, while lifting Bob to cover her face. "What is it, Dae?" she could always trust the birds vision and hearing more than her own. "Lotsa people inta forest, scattered inta lil' broups. Some'r Outcasts, for real," he said, peering at all the different people. "Closest ones to us are Hot, Cold 'n' Crazy, from what I can here from hear."
