So I was just watching MH-53 videos on Youtube. Some guy asks what that [long pole thing](http://www.wingsovereurope.com/military%20helicopters%20gallery_1/MH-53%20M%20Pave%20Low..USA..Luik%202007%20(5).jpg) on the front was in the comments. Another person answered:

> It is actually a modern lance. In case two fighting air vehicles both run out of ammo they'll joust.
You probably have never seen this happen, since in peacetime chopper jousting is forbidden for being too epic.
