Rather than do anything about the energy wave Ganondorf sent across the ground, Ajax simply stepped out of its way and let it either hit a wall or just blast out of the castle from the massive hole he'd made to get inside. He had no intention of interrupting Bee's duel and so began looking for a seat so he could more comfortably enjoy watching the fight when Chaos made his move, creating a cloud of smoke and carelessly flinging fireballs about. This ellicited little outward response from Ajax, but his brow furrowed and his muscles tensed once more as he prepared to blow the mist away. How dared that purple shitstain interrupt a duel. Even though Ganondorf cleared the smoke away, Ajax did not relax, he just could not just let such a situation stand. To interrupt a face to face battle like that, to so idiotically fling destructive sorceries around (it was always fucking magic, always) rather than respect the dignity of a contest of skill between equals. It didn't matter that the smoke did little to bother Ajax and that the fireballs didn't even come close to him, for Ajax it was almost as personal as if he'd been attacked directly. So he once again exploded from place, leaving behind nothing but a crater in the room's floor and a booming noise that could probably be heard several rooms up and down. Ajax blasted himself towards Chaos at speeds too fast for the human eye to perceive in any way. Though he could have gone for a takedown or even a lariat or a full bodyweight tackle, he only wrapped his massive right arm around Chaos' head in a simple grappling hold known as a headlock. It wasn't usually a particularly effective hold, generally used for transitions and control rather than by itself, but Ajax's muscles made it something else. Chaos' head would be squeezed by the arm of someone who was more than capable of bringing the whole castle down with strength alone, and Ajax's power was not something that could be overcome by magic or science. No, only an equal or greater strength or an actual skill could allow escape from the hold. Ajax could not only overpower things that would otherwise ignore muscle but also use his body against immaterial opponents or even keep shifting or teleportation locked down with might alone. Still, the hold was not deadly. It could have been, even the dullest creature alive would've perceived that there was more than enough power in that arm to crush basically any head between that impossibly solid bicep and the forearm, but the hold was only somewhat painful, enough to make someone stop and listen. "Hey, you. Cut that shit out. Do not interrupt a fight between men, fucker".
