Shor'Gen reached out to stop Alexis, but that's as far as he got. He was fast, fast enough to cause disturbances in Shor's vision as the air rippled around him. Perking his head up, he listened to the captain's announcement as it came bouncing in off the walls and through the speakers. His sensory tendrils retreated slightly into his carapace with the force of it all. 

Crawling towards the Medbay terminal, signed in using his identification card, officially entering him into the system. After that, he approached the Medbay intercom, and made an announcement of his own.

"All crew, this is Lead Physician Shor'Gen. Mandatory crew physicals will begin soon."
