Sarah looked up as James approached, and spoke to her. She was confused, true, and this seemed like the perfect thing that could have happened to her. But she wasn't sure if she wanted to accept help of any kind - in her experience, people were far more violent than they let on to others. Furthermore, she had relatively little practise using her voice. For about ten seconds, she simply looked at him, weighing her options and silently hoping he would just walk away, and take away the option. When finally Sarah spoke, her voice started out unexpectedly deep, before going as high as a mouse. It then rapidly leveled out, as she made small adjustments to her vocal cords. "I don't know what a dorm is." She didn't speak much, she could already tell her mistake with her voice had made her look the fool. However, she would look far more the fool, wandering around as everyone else knew what to do, and how to do it all, so she would accept this boy's help, for now.
