Devika waved a bit when she was introduced, but she was not at all looking forward to this. Like someone had so adroitly stated, she was an empath and not much more. As Flood started to plan, she stayed quiet, already on edge from being near people. Flood's presence was one thing, but then she could feel Griffin/Zack bristling at her. And then there was Kat. She hadn't had much experience with the Asgardian, but the girl's smile alone mad her shivery inside. 

"I..." She cleared her throat and tried more clearly. "I took Mimic down once, but... I don't know if it would work a second time."
