[b]Personality Traits:[/b] A peaceful and kind scholar, Yen Sid possesses an amiable warmth, welcoming demeanor, and a sense of humor that puts many at ease in his presence. A deeply compassionate individual, The Sorcerer has an uncanny ability to see the good in people, and is always willing to offer help to those in need, be it in his own special way. But The Sorcerer is also incredibly stern and practical at times, though this is usually for the betterment of his students. The Sorcerer is regarded for driving those he counsels to their physical and mental extremes at one moment, then showing great warmth the next, believing that [i]all[/i] people have potential within them, and that one should [i]never[/i] waste such potential. 

The Sorcerer is an incredibly wise man, his hundreds of years of life experience giving him a vast amount of knowledge regarding the world around him. Because of this, he has a knack for telling incredibly long stories of his past. Despite the great length of these stories, those who take the time to listen usually find themselves a tad bit wiser or more enlightened than before. 

However, The Sorcerer is also a deeply troubled man, plagued by memories from his past that haunt him in his waking life. Because of this, The Sorcerer has difficulty maintaining close relationships, in fear of losing his companions and opening himself to heartbreak once again. Branching off from this, The Sorcerer is very pensive and spiritual, often spending time in deep meditation as a way not only to focus himself, but also to temporarily alleviate his pain. 

[b]Magical Skills:[/b] Befitting his centuries-long life, the Sorcerer is renowned for being one of, if not the most powerful mages in the Fairy Tale World. A master practitioner of magic in its many capabilities, there is little the Sorcerer [b]can't[/b] do, the basic laws of magic applying to his sparse limitations. The Sorcerer, however, has vowed since apprenticeship to never wield Dark Magic or anything related to the Dark 'Arts', though he is capable of absorbing and redirecting most offensive attacks thrown at him. This is dependent on the individual strength of the wielder, however. He displays extraordinary aptitude in telekinesis, and has been shown to be able to disarm opponents with ease, lift objects vastly larger than he is, and even use it offensively against enemies. He is also renowned as a master telepath and Seer, and is able to enter the minds of others to decipher their thoughts, communicate with them over vast distances, and even manipulate their thoughts, actions, and memories, should the target lack the willpower to resist him. He is able to see both the future and the past with great clarity, typically through meditation or dreams; though, given the volatile nature of the future, this power can be both an asset and a hindrance, thusly the Sorcerer relies on it little. [b]Other Skills:[/b] The Sorcerer's long life has allowed him to study a variety of subjects over the years, giving him expert knowledge in various fields of study, a learned scholar and polymath. The Sorcerer is an expert healer, using not only his magic, but also his deep-seated knowledge in medicine that allows him to heal almost any injury or illness with great effect. The Sorcerer is a master charmer and enchanter, and is capable of casting powerful charms and enchantments with only his voice, be it something as simple as a "kind word" in a mug of ale to calm the drinker; or something as advanced as casting a powerful enchantment on his cave to forbid intruders. The Sorcerer is also a capable alchemist, and can identify various ingredients, along with their use in potions, poisons, and poultices. The Sorcerer also displays expert skill when it comes to the use and utilization of magical artifacts, be it an enchanted weapon, various pieces of magical jewelry, or one of his Seeing Stones that he has scattered across the lands. Lastly, The Sorcerer displays great skill as a mediator and counselor, having advised many people throughout the course of his life; with even nobility and royalty seeking his wisdom in the past. 

[b]Biography (Before Earth):[/b] The Sorcerer's past is complex and drawn-out, with many facets of his life forgotten with time. Any records of The Sorcerer's early life and childhood have been lost over the years. The most conclusive records took place during The Sorcerer's adulthood, where he is recorded as having traveled across the Fairy Tale World: from small towns and settlements to massive cities and capitols, even going so far as to journey to different realms within the Fairy Tale World. In each of these places, his reputation is well-regarded by the people, those who met him personally purporting him as a sage instructor. 

When the Dark Queen Maleficent, known better to The Sorcerer as Morgana, attacked the Fairy Tale World and put it under her evil regime, Yen Sid was nowhere to be found; gone into hiding to keep under the Dark Queen's nose. It was during this time that he received a prophecy, a prophecy that showed him what fate had decreed, for the future of Good. 

Devising a plan, Yen Sid enchanted four amulets with great magical power before making his location known to the Royals, who sought him out for a plan. Yen Sid then chose four Guardians who would watch over the Royal's children as they were sent to Earth, with The Sorcerer serving as an observer from a distance, knowing that, in time, the Children would return to reclaim their home...

[b]Biography (Life On Earth):[/b] The Sorcerer, having not traveled with the children to Earth, has no history there, though he holds extensive knowledge of the realm and its cultures. 

[b]Other:[/b] The Sorcerer has a strange habit of hiding his face from view. Before Morgana's takeover, he wore [url=http://i.imgur.com/1P45L.jpg]robes[/url] of pale yellow, adorned with pauldrons and a variety of decorations, the hood drawn up just enough to hide most of his face. After her takeover, however, his clothing became far more concealing, consisting of a long black leather coat, where some say that the hood is unnaturally darkened when drawn over his head. On a stranger note, the Sorcerer's views on love and romance are incredibly muddled over the course of his life. While he had fallen in love at one point in his life and cherished that romance for many years afterwards, he has either become asexual or simply uninterested in the present day. Though this may also be a facet of his near-immortality.
