Nicolas' eyes opened wide once the man stared charging at him with a sword. "Oh, yeah. Real nice," Nicolas scoffed. "Come charging at the guy that gives you a free listening device." Phones sighed and kept his hands raised up. "Vibe..." His response was interrupted as the red-haired girl had kicked him into a building.

 Phones dropped his shoulders. "Of course." He sighed as he could see the building was being leveled. "That was going to be my guy," he muttered under his breath. "And things started to get exciting." He rolled his eyes over to the phoenix; he could tell she was yelling at him. He would have taken off his headphones, but "Lose Yourself" was still playing.

 Nicolas took off one ear off. **"And made a bigger jerk-"** He placed it back on his ear and murmured a nope. Phones was infuriated enough as it is and he didn't need the phoenix to keep adding fuel to the fire. Nicolas crossed his arms and pretended to listen. He slightly pulled his ear off from time to time to get a gist of what she was staying.

 She then stopped her rant and Nicolas awkwardly kept nodding and staring at her. _"Wait, is she still talking? Oh-"_

 Nicolas took off his headset. "I am more than capable of handling myself!" He retorted. "Where have you exactly been? You act as though you have been following me my entire life! If you know so much about me, then how come you didn't help me with all of past problems!" Phones proceeded to march over to the injured council member.  "I have been in tougher situations and managed to land on top. Maybe it was sheer luck or maybe it's because I am actually capable of not having a sitter," Nicolas looked back at the phoenix. "I guess this will prove my metal." He glanced back at the council member. "If I die from this guy, then I die. Because really, I don't deserve this gift of life right now."

 "Now I don't know what gave you the right mind to go ahead and attack me, but it was a big mistake, " Nicolas cracked his knuckles. "Now I'm going to be hurt in the worst ways imaginable. Prepare to feel the power of a _lightning_ mage!" He pointed to the clouds. "Look above, cretin as lighting will strike from above and it will be a marvelous sight!" Nicolas stretched his hands to his back. He immediately clapped them toward the ground creating a moving tremor towards the council member's direction. He considered the council member would be confused or bewildered by his lies.

 Nicolas then proceeded to run beside and behind the moving tremor to issue a combo. If his tremor move missed completely, he could still go for a direct hit from himself.
