Connor smiled reassuringly. "Probably not enough Borax" although he wasn't too sure of this, since this was a new experiment for him as well. 

"We can started again" he said, emptying to contents in the chemical sink, hoping he wasn't destroying Dr Cpnnors lab as he did so. 

"So we will start with a cup and a half of water" he poured the water in, "then add the Alum, and boric acid" he did this, "then the borax" he stirred the solution, and it turned the same colour as his own, "sometimes I forgot even when I don't know what I am doing, I know what I am doing" he said, and it was now as he turned to look at her again that he noticed her shirt.

"Super nerd" he found himself laughing, "I like it. Do you want to try it again?"
