> I've been there, dude. I've been on this site for years and never have I seen a roleplay reach it's end group-wise, due to the reasons you listed. (I myself have been responsible for dying roleplays as well. Though it's been because of life giving me painful situations.) Character-driven plots have a better chance of success, this I believe is true. Though it's a real team effort, and completing a roleplay takes a lot of that; Effort. As well as dedication to making sure it keeps going. > > I can already tell I will be getting a lot of well-spent time here in this roleplay, and I probably will be wanting more after we reach this 'end'. (As I've suffered such a fate from a 1x1 I did over IM with a friend. Ended for reals like, 2 years ago. But we still go on and on about it because of how much we loved the story we made, and the characters we carefully crafted.) > > Can't say for sure, but this might be a similar experience. I really, _really,_ hope it is. So we can keep going and make it past the end and beyond, to whatever else you might have planned for us in that seemingly far-off future. Yeah, it takes a lot of work to keep a roleplay rolling and I admit that sometimes I have lost the drive to keep playing and dropped out. The death of some roleplays have been on me for that but this is one roleplay I have no intention on killing. And far-off is correct. I know for sure that Act 1 is not going to be short and I doubt Act 2(And maybe 3) is going to be short either.
