Vala'Keer watched with a mixture of amazement and guilt as he realized that this was no human. Not unless they conquered the magical arts and wiped one of their own's minds, that could use water, this was very clearly not a human. The Draconian turned on her with a sort of admiration- with that power, their people would've been invincible, before he realized where that thought would leave. A deep sorrow and guilt set in- that power could've saved them. He turned, walking back to the gutted deer, and leaned against a tree trunk, back to Runa. He slowly slid to the ground, still leaning against the tree. He turned; his back rested against the wood of the oak. He gazed sightlessly forward, and thought about how it all could've changed if they could have water heal them.
