Autumn felt tears fill her eyes and she threw her arms around his neck, burying her face into his shoulder. She had missed him so much. Out of all the people in that horrible place, Jason and Mike, the man that had gotten her out, were the only people Autumn trusted besides Echo and Aiden. Jason was like an older brother to her, even though Aiden didn’t really like him. At Jason’s words, Autumn stepped back and wiped at her eyes, tilting her head slightly as she listened to Aiden. 

“Aiden said the monster isn’t near us.” She replied, happy that they had the advantage of Aiden being able to go through walls and solid objects considering he was a spirit. That’s how she had known Echo had been around the corner, she saw them through Aiden’s eyes. She looked at Echo and gently took Jason’s hand as the android began to lead them down the hall once again, Autumn’s bare-feet not making a sound against the ground.
